Founder & Lead Instructor
A&P Mechanic | Aviation Educator | Career Mentor
With more than 25 years working on military helicopters, engineering, tech writing, and AMT instruction, our founder has seen firsthand how difficult the path to becoming a licensed A&P mechanic can be — especially for students navigating the written exams, oral interviews, and practical tests on their own.
After years of mentoring junior mechanics on the shop floor and watching talented students struggle with the written knowledge exams, the decision was made to formalize that guidance into a structured consulting and tutoring practice.
Central Florida AMT Consultants was built to fill the gap between aviation maintenance school and the real-world demands of the FAA certification process. Every session, boot camp, and workshop is designed around the way mechanics actually learn — hands-on, practical, and focused on what matters on test day and beyond.
We serve students across Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, working with aspiring A&P mechanics, military veterans transitioning into civilian aviation, and working mechanics looking to sharpen their knowledge.
